About the role

As our People & Culture Coordinator, you’ll be the reliable go-to person who helps keep our people processes running smoothly.

Recruitment & selection

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment across business units
  • Source candidates, screen applications, conduct interviews, and complete reference checks
  • Prepare employment contracts, offers, and onboarding documentation

Onboarding & offboarding

  • Facilitate new starter inductions and maintain personnel files
  • Process new hires, staff changes, and terminations
  • Coordinate exit interviews and ensure compliance throughout the employee lifecycle

HR Policy & compliance

  • Update, communicate, and advise employees on HR policies
  • Provide guidance on HR procedures and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Support internal and external audits

Employee relations

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries
  • Manage conflict resolution, investigations, and employee relations matters

Performance & development

  • Support performance review cycles
  • Maintain performance management
  • Manage rostering and attendance tracking

HR Reporting & analytics

  • Maintain payroll systems with accurate data
  • Analyse trends to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement

Payroll administration

Gather and verify timesheets, leave requests, and allowances

  • Process payroll data accurately in collaboration with Finance
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll entries

Remuneration & salary review

  • Organise review meetings
  • Prepare recommendations for salary adjustments

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in HR, payroll, recruitment, or people operations (2–3+ years ideal)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Knowledge of Fair Work legislation and HR best practice
  • Competence with payroll systems, or willingness to learn
