Ahmer brings robust background in academic research and managing small businesses. In his role at Ozgene, Ahmer supports clients in mouse model generation and animal husbandry solutions.

A molecular biology professional, Ahmer has a Master of Medical Genetics from University of Newcastle, UK and a Master of Business Administration from University of Cincinnati, USA.

Prior to joining Ozgene, Ahmer established and successfully managed a molecular diagnostic laboratory in Ohio. In addition, he led multi-disciplinary teams at large and small diagnostics laboratories. During his employment at University of Cincinnati, Ahmer worked with several mouse models to study lipid and cholesterol metabolism.

Having traveled extensively, Ahmer brings a global perspective to his work, leveraging international experiences in problem-solving.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Ahmer enjoys spending time with his family. In his spare time Ahmer enjoys nature through hiking and canoeing.
