    The Position

    Ozgene is seeking a Full Stack Developer to assist in architecting and developing an exciting new organisational capability platform. We’re an agile development team using lean methodologies. If you have the confidence to understand, architect and implement the latest architectures and platforms, like single page applications, micro services and serverless architectures, then this is the role for you.


    Skills and experience that will help you succeed in this role:
    • HTML
    • Responsive design using CSS (or preferably SCSS)
    • JavaScript / TypeScript, including modern SPA frameworks such as Angular or React.JS
    • JavaScript build tools such as gulp, webpack or angular-cli
    • API development using server-side technologies such as Node.js
    • Native iOS app development (or hybrid tools such as Xamarin or React Native)
    • Micro service and server-less architectures
    • DevOps, including continuous integration and deployment
    • Data modelling and SQL optimisation
    • AWS technology stack

    The Position

    Ozgene is seeking two full-time Graduate Research Assistants to support scientific processes in our laboratory and animal facility. Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology or an equivalent major. Teamwork as well as good written and oral communication skills are required for this role. As a member of our laboratory and animal facility you will work closely with a variety of staff members to promote a high standard of work, supporting scientific procedures and ensuring the welfare of all animals.


    Your Duties will Include
    • Basic animal husbandry
    • Carrying out tasks in accordance with animal welfare requirements
    • Range of laboratory procedures
    • Data analysis
    • Undertaking sample preparation
    • Perform analytical testing and reporting
    • Ensure equipment and laboratory is kept clean and tidy
    • This role does not require any previous experience working in a laboratory or scientific mouse facility.
