Terms and Conditions:

  1. Eligibility:
    1. The promotion is open to researchers and investigators worldwide.
    2. Participants must be actively affiliated with a recognised research institute, educational institution, or employed by a scientific organisation at the time of entry.
  1. Submission Process:
    1. To enter the promotion, participants must complete and submit the submission form on www.ozgene.com within the designated promotion period.
    2. Submissions must be original and reflect the participant’s own research.
    3. Participants must provide accurate and complete information during the submission process.
  1. Selection of the Winner:
    1. One winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during the promotion period.
    2. The winner will be notified via email within a reasonable time after the selection.
    3. The winner will be required to respond to the notification within 10 business days and provide any necessary information for prize fulfilment.
    4. If winner fails to respond within the specified timeframe or fails to provide the required information, an alternate winner may be drawn.
  1. Collaboration and Custom Mouse Model (Prize):
    1. The winner will collaborate with Ozgene to develop a custom mouse model for their research.
    2. The specifics of the collaboration, including the scope of work and timeline, will be mutually agreed upon between the winner and Ozgene.
    3. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash or other alternative.
    4. The winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes, custom duties and shipping expenses for viable mice.
    5. The winner and Ozgene will execute a deed of service for the creation of the Custom Mouse Model consistent with Ozgene’s standard terms and condition for the creation of custom mouse models (Deed).
    6. In the event that any terms and conditions of the Deed executed between Ozgene and the winner, the terms and conditions of this promotion conflict with each other the terms and conditions of the Deed will prevail.
  1. Intellectual Property:
    1. The participant retains all intellectual property rights to their submitted research work.
    2. The participant grants Ozgene a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted research work for promotional purposes related to the promotion and Ozgene’s services.
  1. Publicity:
    1. By participating in the promotion, participants consent to the public announcement of their selection as the winner and the showcasing of their research work on Ozgene’s website, social media platforms, and other promotional channels.
    2. Participants may be requested to provide additional information, photographs, or testimonials for publicity purposes.
  1. Privacy:
    1. Any personal information collected during the promotion will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and collaborating with the winner.
    2. Ozgene will handle all personal data in accordance with its privacy policy.
  1. Disqualification and Termination:
    1. Ozgene reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or unethical behaviour.
    2. Ozgene may terminate or modify the promotion at any time without prior notice and for any reason.
  1. Liability and Indemnification:
    1. Ozgene and its affiliates, directors, officers, and employees shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with the promotion, the collaboration, or the use of the custom mouse model.
    2. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ozgene from any claims, demands, or actions arising from their participation in the promotion.
  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
    1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Ozgene is located.
    2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
